BOBBING FOR BODY PARTS - Get your mind out of the gutter, pervert, because it's not what you're thinking. In this contest we'll need 3 to 4 contestants willing to get wet. Again, it's not what it sounds like. Remember bobbing for apples at Halloween parties when you were a kid? Well, this is like that only the participants will be bobbing for hands, brains, feet, and hearts in a tub of bloody water. Oh, and did I mention they'll be wrapped up in straitjackets? Talk about your Kodak moments!! Whoever has plucked the most body parts out of the tub in the allotted time wins!! Prizes will be awarded to all participants.



BEST HORROR MOVIE SCREAM - Thinnk you got what it takes to be a hollywood scream queen? Well, test your lungs against potential femme fatales. This is not just a 'loudest screamer' contest. We're looking for screams with emotion and feeling that'll make our blood curdle. Our very own MELANTHA BLACKTHORNE will give a quick demonstration on how it's done to kick off the contest. The winner will be determined by audience approval. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and the losers will get nothing, because, well, you're losers!!

MR & MRS CREEP SHOW CONTEST - The Grandaddy of them all!! Each year we crown a new Mr & Mrs Creep Show. Quite simply put, it's the COUPLE with the best zombie make up and costumes, plain and simple. September 7, 2008 - OBC Gets Creepy

Rotten Jack's Creep Show has announced that Off Beat Cinema has signed on as a 2008 Creep Show sponsor.

OBC will be on hand at Rotten Jack's Creep Show interviewing guests and attendees and filming the festivities to be shown on future episodes of Off Beat Cinema.

Off Beat Cinema is a two hour hosted movie show that airs on television stations throughout North America, featuring the finest in cult movies, movies that MUST be shown, "the Good, the Bad, the Foreign"...

In each episode, Maxwell Truth--along with his beatnik buddy Bird the painter, and the lovely Zelda--discuss the movies they show, and the proper coffee to consume while watching these flicks. Each week they're joined by whacked-out friends and top national music acts as they guzzle espresso and talk flicks.

Movies range from horrific thrillers like "Night of the Living Dead" and Orson Welles in the "Third Man," to Pia Zadora's film debut in "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" and everything in between.

September 3, 2008 - Buffalo Staple To Sponsor 2008 Creep Show

Rotten Jack's Creep Show has announced that Mighty Taco has signed on to be a major sponsor of the 2008 Creep Show.

Mighty Taco, a Mexican-style fast-food restaurant chain in the Buffalo, New York area owned and operated by Mighty Taco Inc., has been in business since 1973. Currently there are 16 Mighty Taco restaurants in and around the Buffalo area.

Rotten Jack's Creep Show has announced that a screening of John Carpenter's Original horror classic Halloween has been added to the 2008 Creep Show list of events! There will be NO additional charge to view the screening.

The screening will start at Midnight with a brief introduction by Tony Moran, The original Face of Michael Myers!

July 17,2008 - National Film Festival Accepting Submissions At 2008 Creep Show

Rotten Jack's Creep Show has accounced that Eerie Horror Festival, a nationally recognized horror movie festival out of Erie, PA, will be on hand selling presale tickets for their event as well as accepting submissions for their Horror Movie, Video Game, and Screenplay competition.

JULY 10, 2008 - Author And Artist Added To 2008 Creep Show Guest List Opens The Gateway

Rotten Jack's Creep Show announced that Author & Artist Craig Hines has been added to the 2008 Creep Show guest list.

Craig Hines is an author and artist with nearly two decades of experience in the field of multimedia. In 2007, Craig published his first non-fiction book, GATEWAY OF THE GODS, which presents new insights and theories regarding our past and future based upon his exhaustive study of ancient myths, religions, and the paranormal. He encourages discussion of the facts, not agendas, both within the scientific and historical communities, and in the population at large.

Craig is also the force behind DARK IMAGININGS, a product line featuring his macabre, and quite often morbidly humorous, “haunted” artwork. July 8, 2008 - Director/Writer & Creator of Rue Morgue Magzine Added To 2008 Creep Show Guest List

Rotten Jack's Creep show has announced Rodrigo Gudino has been added to the 2008 Creep Show guest list.

In 1997 Gudino launched Rue Morgue, an independent magazine focusing on horror in culture and entertainment. In 2004, Gudino expanded the Rue Morgue brand to include Canada's largest horror convention, The Rue Morgue Festival Of Fear.

In 2006 Gudiño wrote and directed his first film, THE EYES OF EDWARD JAMES, which became an Official Selection of the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival and continues to tour worldwide. His second film, THE DEMONOLOGY OF DESIRE premiered at the prestigious 2007 Worldwide Short Film Festival. Currently working on several feature film projects along with overseeing all things Rue Morgue.

July 1,2008 - Short Film To Premiere At 2008 Rotten Jack's Creep Show

Rotten Jack's Creep Show has announced The Pigman, a short film from Buffa-Low Budget Films, will premiere at this year's Creep Show!

In addition, Buffa-Low Budget Films in conjunction with Matty Mask, will have limited edition Pigman masks available for purchase. Each mask will come with a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered by Matt Patterson from Matty Mask and Jay Mager from Buffa-Low Budget Films and director of The Pigman.

JUNE 1, 2008 - The Tantalizing Terror Added To 2008 Creep Show Guest List

Rotten Jack's Creep Show has announced that the voluptuous horror, Melantha Blackthorne will be appearing as a guest at their upcoming September event.

Melantha Blackthorne was recently named “Scream Queen Of The 21st Century” by David L Tamarin. In 1999 she created the web character Countess Bathoria, and quickly gained popularity and legions of fans. Melantha has starred in such films as SHE DEMONS OF THE BLACK SUN, PRISON OF THE PSYCHOTIC DAMNED, COUNTESS BATHORIA’S GRAVEYARD PICTURE SHOW and many more. Rotten Jack's Creep Show has announced that Fangoria Radio Hostess and renowned horror actress Debbie Rochon will be appearing as a guest at their upcoming September event.

Rochon started out as a New York stage actress. She belonged to numerous theatre companies during the 1980s, honing her acting skills in classical and contemporary works. After several bit parts in Indie films she found her true love: film.

By the mid-1990s Debbie was starring in dozens of horror features. Although mostly associated with creepy features and thrillers - she has garnered acclaim for her turns for comedy and drama.

In addition to her acting talents, Rochon has written for numerous publications including GC Magazine, Videoscope, Femme Fatales, The Joe Bob Report, Draculina, Scream Queens Illustrated, Scan and Sirens of Cinema. Debbie currently works for Fangoria Entertainment both as talent, and hosting her own show called “Trailer Park”, as well as producer on numerous other projects. May 24, 2008 - X Files Illustrator & Fantasy Artist Added To 2008 Creep Show Guest Line Up

Tony Mauro, best known for his work on the 20th Century Fox hit show The X-Files, has been confirmed as a guest at this year's Rotten Jack's Creep Show.

Mauro's illustrations have graced many an outlet for The X-Files including books and video box covers, calendars, and as well as numerous other merchandise applications for the hit show.

Mauro currently designs domestic and national movie posters under the banner of Tony Mauro Illustrations. Some of his recent work includes movie posters for Zodiac, Ghost Hunters, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Village, Pirates of the Carribean, and the IMP Award winning Black Christmas.

May 14, 2008 - The Face Of Michael Myers Added To Growing List Of Creep Show Guests

In honor of the 30th anniversary of John Carpenters Halloween, Tony Moran, The Face of Michael Myers, will be appearing at the 2008 Rotten Jack's Creep Show.

The only adult actor to be recognized as "Michael Myers" Tony has also made guest television appearances on "CHiPs" and "The Walton's" and many other shows. In addition, Moran will be appearing in "BEG", "LUCKY BREAK", "HAPPY BIRTHDAY", "DO YOU GOT A MINUTE" and 2 other new films in 2008.

May 7, 2008 - Leatherface Gets Rotten At 2008 Creep Show

Rotten Jack's Creep Show has announced that horror icon Gunnar Hansen has been added to this years guest line up. Hansen, best known for his role as the ruthless killer Leatherface in the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre, has appeared in over 20 films and has been featured in numerous documentaries. Gunnar is also an author; his nonfiction travel memoir, Islands at the Edge of Time, A journey to America's Barrier Islands, was published in 1993.

Most recently, Hansen has appeared in Chainsaw Sally, Gimme Skelter, and Brutal Massacre: a Comedy.
Born in Reykjavik, Iceland Hansen is a graduate of University of Texas, and has taught college as an adjunct instructor.

April 20, 2008 - The Creep Show Gets Metaphysical

In an effort to bring a greater paranormal presence to this year's Rotten Jack's Creep Show, Reverand Tim Shaw has been added to the growing list of guests.

Shaw, an Ordained Spiritualist Minister, Certified Medium, Spiritualist Healer, and Reiki Healer who has obtained the Master/Teacher Level, has had several articles published in On The Trail Magazine, Wilderness Way Magazine, and Haunted Times.

The good Reverend has received spiritual training at the Omega Holistic Institute, The Lily Dale Spiritualist Camp, The Morris Pratt Institute, and through the National Association of Spiritualist Churches.

In addition, Shaw is also a Metaphysical Instructor, Independent Paranormal Investigator, Aboriginal Skills Instructor, and acomplished Leatherworker. Tim can oftentimes be found lecturing on numerous topics throughout the Western NY area and beyond.

March 28, 2008 - First Guest Announced For 2008 Rotten Jack's Creep Show To Coincide With National Book Launch

Rotten Jack’s Creep Show is proud to announce it will be the Official Book Launch site of horror author and filmmaker Gregory Lamberson’s newest trade paperback book entitled Johnny Gruesome published by Medallion Press.

The book, which is set in a fictionalized version of Fredonia, NY, was published as an illustrated Limited Edition hardcover in January aimed at collectors and only available on-line, and received rave reviews. Greg will be on hand to sign advance copies of the book, which has spawned the rock CD GRUESOME, a collectible mask, a music video starring "Misty Mundae," and an award winning on-line comic book.

Lamberson also wrote and directed the microbudget horror films Slime City, Undying Love, and Naked Fear all of which played as Midnight Movies in NYC.

In addition, Greg has worked as an assistant director, associate producer, and production manager on various works such as West New York, the cult classic Brain Damage, and I Was A Teenage Zombie.

The Slime Guy is also a member of the Horror Writers Association and has sold ficiton to Hellnotes, H.P. Lovercraft's Magazine of Horror, and Red Scream.

March 3, 2008 - Creep Show Date And Location Announced For 2008 Event

Rotten Jack's Creep Shack has announced their annual horror & halloween themed event entitled Rotten Jack's Creep Show will take place on Saturday September 20, 2008.

The location of this year's event will take place at Town Ballroom, 681 Main Street, Buffalo, NY. Town Ballroom is one of Buffalo's premiere night spots and is the perfect local for such an event considering it is rumored to be haunted.
